Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igor Kusilutka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas has chosen Notorious B.I.G - Who shot Ya? as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Igor Kusilutka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Douglas! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kusilutka tries to close the distance and clinch but Douglas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kusilutka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Douglas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kusilutka jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Douglas throws a leg kick which misses Kusilutka's front leg but catches the back leg as Kusilutka tries to avoid it. Kusilutka tries to clinch there but Douglas circles away.
Douglas cracks the inside of Kusilutka's front leg. Kusilutka takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kusilutka doesn't manage to clinch there - Douglas circles away.
A leg kick checked by Kusilutka. Douglas slips a jab from Kusilutka. Kusilutka has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Fight Club - ELITE TRAINERS----$580 in the buildup to the fight. No joy there for Kusilutka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kusilutka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Good leg kick by Douglas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Douglas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kusilutka throws an overhand right that lands on Douglas's shoulder, as Douglas tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Kusilutka. Kusilutka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Douglas tries a head kick but it misses.
Kusilutka throws a jab but it's blocked by Douglas. Douglas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kusilutka was covering up waiting for the punch and Douglas finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Douglas looking to sit in guard and control but Kusilutka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Douglas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kusilutka has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Douglas is proving hard to escape from. Douglas is controlling Kusilutka's posture.
Chris Douglas has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Douglas gets caught napping as Kusilutka dives in and scores a takedown. Douglas manages to retain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kusilutka trying to control the position from guard on top but Douglas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Douglas controlling the position. Kusilutka prevents Douglas from getting back to his feet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Douglas holds on and takes a little breather.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kusilutka closes the distance and clinches. Douglas tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kusilutka working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kusilutka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Igor Kusilutka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Douglas. Kusilutka stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Kusilutka seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Douglas is working for takedown but Kusilutka is calmly controlling the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Douglas is looking to take this one to the mat. Douglas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kusilutka avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kusilutka will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Douglas up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Douglas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Douglas cracks Kusilutka with a solid left hand. Douglas makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Douglas postures up.
Douglas throws a strike but Kusilutka rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kusilutka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Douglas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Douglas holds on and takes a little breather. Kusilutka drops back looking for a leg! Douglas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Douglas manages to kick Kusilutka off! Kusilutka jumps back into Douglas's guard. Douglas is looking to stand up but Kusilutka isn't so interested in that idea. Kusilutka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Douglas is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kusilutka wants to control from the top but Douglas keeps moving. Douglas wants to stand but Kusilutka is controlling the position. Douglas keeping moving, preventing Kusilutka from controlling successfully.
We're going to have a standup here because Igor Kusilutka wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kusilutka clinches up with Douglas and pushes him back against the cage.

Kusilutka tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Douglas is staying active underneath Kusilutka, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Douglas has hold of Kusilutka's hands but Kusilutka slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Douglas avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kusilutka. Douglas wants to get back to his feet.
Kusilutka is looking to take a break and control but Douglas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Douglas has his hands clasped together around Kusilutka's back. He's all about the action. Igor Kusilutka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Douglas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kusilutka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kusilutka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kusilutka throws a sloppy head kick and Douglas moves out of range easily. Douglas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Douglas throws a solid leg kick but Kusilutka takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Douglas. Douglas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kusilutka throws a hook to the side of Douglas's head but Douglas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Douglas scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Nice cross by Kusilutka. Kusilutka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Douglas is working for takedown but Kusilutka is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kusilutka blocks a leg kick. Douglas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chris Douglas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kusilutka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Douglas but Douglas pushes him off and we're back to square one. A head kick misses from Kusilutka. Douglas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Igor Kusilutka. I think Douglas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
