Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Vapers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vapers comes to the cage accompanied by Black Hole Sun. George Sullivan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vapers tries to clinch up.
Sullivan fails with a takedown attempt.
Sullivan works the jab nicely.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vapers as he avoids it easily.
Sullivan throws a leg kick that misses.
Vapers throws a sloppy head kick and Sullivan moves out of range easily.
Sullivan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Sullivan punishes Vapers's body with a nice straight punch.
Vapers moves forwards but Sullivan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sullivan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Sullivan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vapers won't be happy with that.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vapers tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Vapers wants to get back to his feet.
Vapers is covering up but some of the strikes from Sullivan are getting through and doing damage.
Sullivan cracks Vapers with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Vapers from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Vapers covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Vapers is rocked!
Sullivan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Oh Vapers is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vapers covers up after that shot from Sullivan.
Sullivan lands a series of strikes from the back and Vapers goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!
