Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Vjorgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vjorgensen comes to the cage accompanied by Mudvayne - Do What You Do. Hashimoto has chosen Chopin's Funeral March in B flat minor as his entrance music. Bjorn Vjorgensen had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keiji Hashimoto!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vjorgensen tries a head kick but it misses.
Hashimoto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vjorgensen is fending him off so far but Hashimoto persists. Nope, Vjorgensen circles away and we're back to standing.
Hashimoto moves out of range as Vjorgensen throws a body kick.

Hashimoto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hashimoto uses his free foot to push down on Vjorgensen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vjorgensen.

Hashimoto shoots in and bounces Vjorgensen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hashimoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vjorgensen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hashimoto has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vjorgensen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hashimoto is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vjorgensen pulls down on the head and he's put Hashimoto to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 4, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bjorn Vjorgensen!
