The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seamon clinches with his opponent.
Rhodes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Seamon breaks the clinch.
Seamon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rhodes. Rhodes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Seamon. Seamon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Seamon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rhodes circles away. Duck Rhodes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Seamon. Seamon jabs Rhodes to the body, keeping him at a distance. Seamon shoots in looking for a takedown but Rhodes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Seamon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rhodes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Seamon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Seamon scores with the left hand. Rhodes knows he should have avoided that one. Seamon drives through and clinches with Rhodes against the cage.
Seamon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rhodes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Seamon pulls guard successfully.
Rhodes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Seamon pulls Rhodes in close to his closed guard and prevents Rhodes from doing any damage or advancing position. Seamon will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Steve Seamon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Seamon swats away the attempt to clinch by Rhodes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seamon throws a combination. Rhodes tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Duck Rhodes has been cut. Seamon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rhodes on his heels. He'll look to pass Rhodes's guard now, I'm sure. Seamon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Seamon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Seamon controls from within his opponent's guard. Seamon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Seamon shoots in looking for a takedown but Rhodes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Seamon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rhodes wants to get up but he can't break Seamon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rhodes wants to pass the guard but Seamon is keeping the position. Rhodes preventing the sweep. Seamon managing to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhodes won't allow Seamon to sweep him here. Seamon is trying to keep Rhodes in close.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Steve Seamon. Seamon darts in and clinches Rhodes up against the cage. Seamon manages to break the clinch.
Rhodes staying out of range there. Rhodes stuffs the takedown attempt from Seamon. Seamon gets slowly back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Seamon fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Seamon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Duck Rhodes's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Seamon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rhodes circles away. Seamon throws a right and a left that both miss. Seamon closes the distance and clinches up with Rhodes, looking for a takedown. Seamon pushes Rhodes against the cage but Rhodes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Seamon shoots in for a takedown but Rhodes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Duck Rhodes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Seamon. Seamon blocks a head kick by Rhodes.
Seamon goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Seamon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rhodes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Seamon somewhat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Seamon closes the distance looking to clinch and Rhodes counters with a one-two to the body. Seamon looks for a takedown but Rhodes sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seamon keeps the fight on the outside. Seamon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Seamon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Seamon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Seamon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Seamon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rhodes defends it easily. Rhodes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Seamon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Seamon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Seamon! Rhodes is looking to regain half guard here but Seamon keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seamon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rhodes tries to buck Seamon off but Seamon is having none of it. Seamon controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Seamon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Seamon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Seamon is looking to take a break and control but Rhodes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rhodes tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Seamon presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seamon with good strikes from the mount here! Seamon works his way to his opponent's back.

Seamon has good solid back control here. Seamon is hanging on to Rhodes's back as he tries to escape.

Steve Seamon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Duck Rhodes's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

"Ole!" shouts Rhodes as he jumps to the side. A chopping leg kick lands by Seamon. Seamon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Seamon decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Seamon. Duck Rhodes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Seamon. Seamon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seamon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. A lull in the action here as Seamon stalls from top position. Seamon trying to control the action but Rhodes is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seamon is trying to get an arm triangle but Rhodes is defending well. Seamon stands up. Seamon tries to clinch up. Seamon shoots for a double leg takedown but Rhodes sprawls well. He's pushed Seamon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seamon throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Seamon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rhodes's guard. Rhodes looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Seamon puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Seamon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rhodes is just riding it out for now. Seamon eventually gives up the hold. Seamon decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seamon dives in and grabs Rhodes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rhodes pushes down on Seamon's head and hops out. Steve Seamon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Rhodes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Seamon, pushing him back against the cage. Seamon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rhodes smiles and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Seamon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rhodes misses with a body kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rhodes slaps away a takedown attempt from Seamon, before circling back to the center of the mat. Duck Rhodes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Steve Seamon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Rhodes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Seamon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Seamon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
