Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Connor Rostowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Francisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Connor Rostowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Francisco!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Francisco shoots in for a takedown but Rostowski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Rostowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Francisco circles away quickly and effectively.
Rostowski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Francisco moves away.

Rostowski cracks Francisco with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Connor Rostowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rostowski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Francisco scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Francisco will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rostowski wants to control but Francisco is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rostowski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Rostowski is looking to wear down Francisco with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Rostowski takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rostowski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Francisco eats them both and turns towards Rostowski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Francisco throws a lazy right hand but Rostowski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Francisco moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Rostowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Francisco is working away from the top position though.

Francisco bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Francisco is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rostowski looks calm but he's in trouble here. Francisco gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rostowski is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Francisco lets go of the hold and Rostowski can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daniel Francisco!
