Smoove kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is The theme from Shaft. Webbie Smoove could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Beau Neurs's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Neurs.
Neurs scores with a kick to the midsection.
Neurs tries to clinch up but Smoove circles away and keeps his distance.

Smoove is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Smoove is looking to break free of the clinch but Neurs has double underhooks.

Smoove tightens his grip and picks Neurs up, before dumping him to the ground. Neurs manages to land in guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Smoove misses with a series of wild punches.

Neurs tries for a takedown but Smoove sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Smoove throws a left that rocks Neurs and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Smoove dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Neurs regain composure!

Smoove decides to stand up, so the ref orders Neurs to his feet.
Neurs is still on wobbly legs! Can Smoove finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Smoove tries to break the clinch but Neurs is controlling the position.

Smoove lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Neurs is looking to close the distance but Smoove sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Neurs crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Neurs is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
