Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jakob Silfversberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Cook throws a series of punches but Silfversberg moves out of range.
Cook connects with a crisp jab.
Cook punishes Silfversberg's body with a nice straight punch.
Cook cracks Silfversberg with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Cook wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silfversberg crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cook - the referee stops the clock and Silfversberg gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cook. Silfversberg manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Silfversberg has hold of one of Cook's legs. Cook is fighting the takedown attempt but Silfversberg gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silfversberg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cook has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silfversberg has managed to get both his arms back between Cook's legs - danger averted.
Cook seems to have recovered his senses.
Silfversberg has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cook is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
