Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Shock!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shock is looking to clinch but Sthenos is avoiding it.
Shock lands a right hook to the body.
Shock tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Sthenos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sthenos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sthenos thows a body shot but no joy.
Sthenos swats away the attempt to clinch by Shock.
Shock tries to clinch there but Sthenos circles away.
Sthenos thows a leg kick but Shock checks it
and Shock counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sthenos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sthenos lands a jab.
Shock wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Sthenos has managed to clinch.
Sthenos content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Sthenos tries to work over Shock's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sthenos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Sthenos has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shock.
Shock tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Shock finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Sthenos darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
William Shock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sthenos gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sthenos pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Sthenos lands with a short shot to the head.
Still in the clinch, Sthenos scores with a nice short uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sthenos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sthenos looks to land a left hand but Shock moved out of range nicely.
Sthenos lands a jab to Shock's midsection.

Sthenos misses the shot to the body.
Shock throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Shock tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sthenos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sthenos throws out a leg kick but Shock moves out of range and Sthenos only half commits.

Shock cracks a nice hook into Sthenos's ribs.

and Shock counters with a leg kick.

and Shock counters with a thumping low kick.
Sthenos misses the shot to the body.
Shock tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sthenos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dunami Sthenos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sthenos throws a leg kick but Shock moved away.
Shock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sthenos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Sthenos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee is keeping an eye on Sthenos - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Shock is still on wobbly legs! Can Sthenos finish him?

Sthenos moves into the clinch.
Sthenos pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Sthenos creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Shock crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Shock face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Sthenos takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dunami Sthenos!
