Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes into the arena with Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Walker! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Walker scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Frankie Barnes has been cut. Barnes dodges the punch combination from Walker.
Walker looks for the body kick but Barnes saw that one coming. Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Walker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barnes.
Walker throws a looping overhand right but Barnes ducks down to avoid it. Walker moves into the clinch successfully.
Walker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Barnes backwards. Barnes connects with a nasty looking knee right to Walker's face.
It looks like Brandon Walker has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barnes creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Walker's defenses. Barnes scores with an uppercut up the middle. Barnes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Walker is defending well for now. Walker is trying to break the clinch but Barnes has him pressed against the ropes. Barnes prevents Walker from breaking the clinch. Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Walker just misses with a punch to the body.

Walker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Barnes backwards. Walker is trying to break the clinch but Barnes has him pressed against the ropes. Barnes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Walker backwards. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker working hard to break the clinch. Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Walker moves into the clinch. Barnes lands with a right to the head. Barnes lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Walker is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Barnes to keep the fight standing. Barnes with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Barnes tries to work over Walker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Barnes scores with a nice short uppercut. Barnes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Barnes thows a leg kick but Walker checks it and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Walker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Barnes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Good exchange - Walker coming out on top. Walker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Barnes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walker. Barnes throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Barnes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Walker avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Walker misses the body punch and Barnes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Walker throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Barness head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker effectively controlling the action here. Barnes has Walker pressed against the ropes, preventing Walker from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Barnes lands with a short head shot on the inside. Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Barnes misses with a low kick.
Barnes cracks Walker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Walker on the wrong end of a nice hook. Barnes lands with a shot to the body. Barnes is looking to wear down Walker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Walker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Walker throws a head kick but Barnes moves out of range.
Walker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barnes manages to avoid it. Walker clinches up with Barnes and pushes him back against the ropes. Barnes swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walker can't find room to land a body shot as Barnes controls the action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barnes throws out a loose jab but Walker uses good head movement to avoid it. A short right hand to the side of the head by Barnes. Barnes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Walker or not. Walker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A nice right hand lands inside from Barnes. A short uppercut from Barnes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barnes misses with a knee to the head. Barnes misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Walker.

An intense looking Frankie Barnes took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I'm happy and honored to be able to defend this title 8 times and be in the HOF. Thank you everyone for your support'. Brandon Walker was interviewed post fight and said 'I have to train better next time.'.
