Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelvin wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.

enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Kelvin fights it but they end up in guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kelvin holds on and takes a little breather.
Kelvin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Maikon Kelvin.

and Johnson counters with a one-two to the body.

Kelvin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Johnson tries to improve his position but Kelvin has taken his back! Kelvin has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Johnson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kelvin pushes Johnson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
