Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Trig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooks Buford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buford has chosen country boy as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trig instigates a clinch.
Buford displaying some good clinch control by pressing Trig up against the cage.
Buford can't get the takedown.
Buford drops down looking for an ankle pick but Trig pulls his leg out and moves away.
Trig throws a series of punches but Buford avoids them all with ease.
Buford misses with a two punch combination.
Buford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trig's waist but Trig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buford off to one side.
Frank Trig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brooks Buford.
Trig connects with a leg kick. Buford looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Frank Trig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Trig does no damage.
Buford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trig's waist but Trig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buford off to one side.
Buford shoots in for a takedown but Trig shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Trig misses with a double jab.
Nice straight punches there by Trig. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Trig.

It looks like Brooks Buford has been cut.
Trig throws a head kick that misses.

Buford throws a right and a left that Trig avoids nicely.
Trig throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Buford.
Trig throws the left hand but Buford avoids the punch easily.
Buford lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trig circles away quickly and effectively.

Buford gets tackled into the cage by Trig. Trig maintains the clinch.
Trig wants to get back to striking at distance but Buford won't allow it.
Trig with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Trig has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Trig is trying to break the clinch but Buford has him pressed against the cage.
Trig prevents a body shot from Buford.

Trig gets underhooks to prevent Buford's takedown attempt.

Buford breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Buford fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Trig to the ground. Buford is now in Trig's guard.
Buford lands a couple of elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Buford postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Buford works over Trig with some ground and pound from guard.

Buford is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Trig wants to get back to his feet but Buford is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Trig avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Buford lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Trig preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Buford slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Buford advances nicely into full mount.
Buford lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Trig hang on?
Trig knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buford on the ground.

Buford is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Buford!
