Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrick Nolan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy is looking to clinch.
Hardy misses with a body shot
and Nolan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hardy's guard now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nolan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Nolan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nolan lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Nolan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hardy wants to stand but Nolan is controlling the position.

Hardy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nolan is controlling him.
Hardy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nolan has picked Hardy up and slammed him! Hardy can't keep hold of the triangle and Nolan manages to pass to side control!
Hardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nolan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nolan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hardy to see if he's OK.
Nolan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Nolan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hardy's shoulder. That is not cool.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Nolan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee asks Nolan politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nolan prefers to stall for the moment though.
Hardy seems to have recovered his senses.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Nolan! Hardy is hurt baaadly! Nolan is firing away with more strikes - Hardy is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
