Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Kellog!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kellog connects with a jab.
Simmons looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Simmons swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kellog counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kellog.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simmons is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kellog is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Simmons is striking but Kellog is not phased and passes to half guard.
Kellog looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kellog content to control rather than advance.
Simmons has a hand on Kellog's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kellog takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mike Kellog hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Simmons rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kellog moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kellog showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Simmons.
Kellog avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kellog lands a left and a right that send Simmons crashing to the mat, dazed. Kellog thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Simmons is rocked!
It looks like Shaun Simmons has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Kellog moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Simmons! Kellog continues to tee off on Simmons, landing with a left and a right! Kellog connects with a right hand that leaves Simmons sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Kellog!
