Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Finkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feng Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finkle's entrance music is Traffic. A fine choice. Wei has chosen Tekken DR - Snow Castle as his entrance music. Feng Wei acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vadim Finkle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Feng Wei! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wei misses with a wild body shot. Wei connects with a single shot there. Finkle closes the distance and clinches up with Wei, looking for a takedown. Finkle pushes Wei against the cage but Wei circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wei swats away the attempt to clinch by Finkle. Finkle shoots in for a double leg but Wei sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Finkle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wei pinned against the cage. Wei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vadim Finkle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wei lands a jab to the nose. A big left from Wei misses. Feng Wei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wei throws a front kick aimed at Finkle's knee but Finkle avoids it well. Finkle misses with a takedown attempt - Wei sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Finkle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wei tries to avoid it but Finkle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wei to the ground. Wei escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wei connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Finkle gets caught flat footed, as Wei shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wei pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Finkle is keeping the position for now. Wei won't allow Finkle to sweep him here. Finkle looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wei puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Wei winds up and cracks Finkle with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Finkle is looking for a sweep. Wei is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Finkle is working hard here to advance position. Finkle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wei is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Finkle manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wei trying to control the position from guard on top but Finkle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wei not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Finkle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wei doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wei manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wei working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wei is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Finkle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Finkle is trying to control the position but Wei postures up. Finkle wants to sweep but no luck. Finkle is looking for a triangle but Wei pushes his legs off easily.
Finkle will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Wei bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Finkle's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Feng Wei dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Finkle slips a straight right by Wei. Finkle tries to clinch but Wei moves out of range. Wei misses with a straight left. Wei pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Finkle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Finkle with a lazy takedown attempt and Wei counters with a nice double leg into side control. Finkle won't be happy with that. Finkle tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Wei presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Finkle taking shots to the head. Wei sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Finkle is looking to improve his position but Wei isn't that keen on the idea.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wei sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Finkle is looking to get to half guard. Wei looking to control and managing it successfully. Finkle is working to get back to half guard.

Feng Wei showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Finkle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wei counters with a good low kick that Finkle was not able to check. Finkle misses with a takedown and Wei counters with a takedown into side control. Wei wants to control but Finkle is keeping him busy. Wei taking a break here but Finkle is having none of it and regains half guard.
Despite being in the dominant position, Feng Wei just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Finkle darts in and clinches Wei up against the cage. Finkle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wei has him pressed against the cage. Wei prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vadim Finkle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wei manages to break the clinch.

Vadim Finkle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wei lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Finkle is rocked! Finkle takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oh Finkle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wei closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Finkle to the mat! Finkle manages to get full guard. Wei trying to control the position from guard on top but Finkle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Finkle seems to have got his legs back now. Finkle keeping full guard, as Wei tries to pass.

Wei stays in close to Finkle's body and controls the position. Wei takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Finkle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wei makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wei avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wei slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wei controls the position. Wei moves into full mount! Wei looking to control and managing it successfully. Finkle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Vadim Finkle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wei looking to control and managing it successfully. Finkle is looking to improve his position but Wei isn't that keen on the idea. Finkle in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Wei tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Feng Wei comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wei winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
