Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cornel Develutian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Beckett! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beckett lands a big head kick that sends Develutian tumbling to the mat! Beckett takes a step backwards and waves Develutian back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Cornel Develutian has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Develutian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beckett - the referee stops the clock and Develutian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beckett. Develutian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Beckett fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Develutian on the side of the head. Develutian blocks a head kick by Beckett.
Develutian stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beckett. Beckett moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Beckett lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A looping hook to the body misses from Develutian. Beckett does a little dance to reset his feet. Beckett has closed the distance and engaged Develutian in a clinch.
Beckett tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A head punch blocked on the inside by Develutian. Develutian tries a knee to the head but Beckett blocks it.
Develutian doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Beckett throws a body kick that misses. Beckett explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Nice body kick from Beckett. Develutian is breathing heavily. Beckett scores with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beckett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Develutian. Beckett fakes the leg kick and cracks Develutian in the body. Beckett looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Beckett lands a big uppercut and Develutian crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Develutian looks OK. Beckett waves Develutian back to his feet!
Develutian is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beckett pushes Develutian away with a front kick. Oh Develutian is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Robert Beckett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Develutian drops his hands momentarily and Beckett needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Develutian just on the top of the head. Develutian drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Develutian - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Robert Beckett! A relieved looking Robert Beckett thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
