Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between spock clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, spock clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Bernard! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bernard throws a shot to the body.
Bernard fails with a takedown attempt from distance. clark is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bernard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts clark as he jumps to the side. clark misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
clark fails with a takedown attempt. clark fails miserably with a takedown attempt. clark throws a push kick but Bernard slaps the foot to one side.
Bernard gets a clinch.
Bernard successfully pulls guard.
clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Bernard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. clark trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bernard's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bernard looking for a sweep. Not yet Bernard, not yet. clark trying to control but Bernard is working from the bottom. clark seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bernard keeping moving, preventing clark from controlling successfully. Bernard trying to keep a closed guard but clark is proving a slippery customer.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. clark wants to stand but Bernard is controlling his posture from full guard.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bernard has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bernard pulls guard effortlessly. clark trying to control but Bernard is working from the bottom. clark being controlled here momentarily. Bernard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. clark manages to get himself to full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bernard drops back looking for a leg! clark is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and clark manages to kick Bernard off! Bernard jumps back into clark's guard. Bernard wants to control from the top but clark keeps moving. Bernard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. clark trying to control the position.
Bernard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with clark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
clark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bernard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. clark looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bernard decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bernard shoots for a double leg takedown but clark sprawls well. He's pushed Bernard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. spock clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Bernard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. clark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bernard as he jumps to the side.
Bernard closes the distance and clinches.
Bernard pulls guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Bernard dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
clark tries to clinch there but Bernard circles away.
Bernard forces clark back against the cage and clinches. Bernard wants a takedown but no success here.
Bernard connects with a knee to the head.
Bernard lands a nice knee to the body. clark wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bernard has him pressed against the cage. Bernard tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
clark is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bernard is trying to work for a single leg takedown but clark pulls him back up using the underhooks. spock clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Bernard. Bernard crunches a lovely knee into clark's ribcage.
Bernard breaks the clinch.
clark misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Bernard counters by moving into the clinch.

 That's one minute gone in the round. clark tries to free his leg and advance position but Bernard is retaining full guard. Bernard is trying to hold clark in close to prevent damage but clark has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bernard is staying active underneath clark, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bernard throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
clark prevents Bernard from improving his position. Bernard is refusing to be controlled, as clark sits in half guard. clark is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bernard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. clark not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Bernard with a lazy takedown attempt
and clark decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bernard's guard. Bernard wants to sweep but no luck. clark trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. clark postures up.
clark with a flurry of punches that miss. clark has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bernard is proving hard to escape from. Bernard is trying to keep clark in close.
Bernard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bernard seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bernard looks for a takedown but clark sprawls well. clark closes the distance and clinches up with Bernard, looking for a takedown. clark pushes Bernard against the cage but Bernard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. clark gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bernard counters by moving into the clinch.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. clark misses with an elbow strike.
Bernard landing some nice looking knees to the body.
clark tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bernard lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of clark backwards.
Bernard jumps guard and drags clark to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. clark pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bernard is keeping the position for now. clark wanted to stand there but Bernard had control of the position. Bernard wants to stand up but clark is controlling him. clark wants to pass the guard but Bernard is keeping the position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chris Bernard will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bernard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bernard wants to control from the top but clark keeps moving. Bernard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control clark kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bernard prevents clark from getting back to his feet. Bernard wants to stand and escape but instead clark has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. clark is looking to work some ground and pound but Bernard has wrist control. clark trying to control but Bernard is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. clark stopping the sweep attempt from Bernard. clark wants to get up but he can't break Bernard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bernard rushes clark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bernard lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Bernard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
clark throws a head kick that misses. clark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bernard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. clark sprawls well initially but Bernard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bernard perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. clark is in trouble now - Bernard has advanced to mount! Bernard throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for clark because Bernard loaded up on that one. Bernard wants to control the action but instead clark gets a body lock and reverses into Bernard's guard! Nice work! clark is fighting to break Bernard's control of his arms but Bernard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bernard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bernard trying to control the position here. Bernard keeping moving, preventing clark from controlling successfully. clark preventing the sweep. clark wants to control from the top but Bernard keeps moving.
Bernard manages to escape and get back to his feet.
clark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bernard as he jumps to the side.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bernard gets in close and instigates a clinch. clark tries to break the clinch but Bernard is controlling the position.
Bernard pulls guard effortlessly. Chris Bernard has got the better of the ground game so far.
clark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and clark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. clark has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bernard is proving hard to escape from. Bernard lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for clark! clark is working to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Bernard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bernard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
