Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between spock clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard throws a shot to the body.
Bernard fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
clark is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bernard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts clark as he jumps to the side.
clark misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

clark throws a push kick but Bernard slaps the foot to one side.
Bernard gets a clinch.
Bernard successfully pulls guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bernard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with clark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
clark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bernard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bernard decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bernard shoots for a double leg takedown but clark sprawls well. He's pushed Bernard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

clark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bernard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. clark sprawls well initially but Bernard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bernard perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
clark is in trouble now - Bernard has advanced to mount!
Bernard throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for clark because Bernard loaded up on that one.
Bernard wants to control the action but instead clark gets a body lock and reverses into Bernard's guard! Nice work!
clark is fighting to break Bernard's control of his arms but Bernard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Chris Bernard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bernard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
