Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jehoshaphat Ben Asa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tubbins Stewfis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewfis has chosen like a hurricane! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jehoshaphat Ben Asa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Stewfis misses.
Ben Asa blocks a jab.
Stewfis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ben Asa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stewfis looks to land a left hand but Ben Asa moved out of range nicely.
Ben Asa tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ben Asa.
Stewfis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ben Asa in his tracks.

It looks like Jehoshaphat Ben Asa has been cut.

Stewfis closes the distance looking to clinch

and Ben Asa counters with a shoot takedown. Stewfis fights it but they end up in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stewfis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ben Asa drops back looking for a leg! Stewfis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stewfis manages to kick Ben Asa off! Ben Asa jumps back into Stewfis's guard.

Ben Asa stands and throws Stewfis's legs to the side, diving into side control.

It looks like Tubbins Stewfis has been cut.

Ben Asa throws an elbow but Stewfis slips to the side and avoids it well.
Stewfis tries to escape but Ben Asa is in control.
Ben Asa tries to advance to mount but Stewfis denies him.

Ben Asa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Stewfis stops Ben Asa from passing to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ben Asa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stewfis has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ben Asa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ben Asa misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ben Asa throws a strike aimed at the side of Stewfis's head but Stewfis avoids it well.
Ben Asa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ben Asa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ben Asa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That has opened up Tubbins Stewfis's cut even more.
Stewfis is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
