The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloggett tries to land a front kick but Hernandez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hernandez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hernandez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sloggett misses with an uppercut. Hernandez saw that one coming.
Hernandez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
