Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pentti Saarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jail Bonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Saarinen.
Saarinen throws a lazy right hand but Bonnen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bonnen enables Saarinen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bonnen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pentti Saarinen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Saarinen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bonnen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Saarinen has Bonnen in his guard.

Saarinen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bonnen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Saarinen is tightening it up a little... Bonnen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bonnen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bonnen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Saarinen!
