Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alysian Karalis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Also Zarathustra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karalis comes into the arena with High Hopes by Pink Floyd blaring out of the sound system. Zarathustra has chosen Red Birds Will Fly Out Of The East And Destroy Paris In A Night as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarathustra swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Karalis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zarathustra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zarathustra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Zarathustra tries to clinch but Karalis is having none of it.
Also Zarathustra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zarathustra takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Karalis counters with a nice leg kick.

Karalis throws a hook but Zarathustra blocks it.
Zarathustra rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Karalis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zarathustra's knee momentarily.
Zarathustra looks to throw the jab but Karalis is out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Zarathustra lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Karalis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Karalis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Karalis makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Zarathustra really felt that one!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Karalis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Zarathustra does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Zarathustra lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zarathustra throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Zarathustra takes a swing at Karalis's ribcage but misses.
Karalis blocks a low kick nicely.

Karalis looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Zarathustra fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Karalis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

I would just about give that final round to Also Zarathustra.
Well Zarathustra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Also Zarathustra rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
