Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Numero Cero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cero comes to the cage accompanied by Hate Me Now - Nas. Chamakh has chosen Robyn - Indestructible as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Numero Cero!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karim Chamakh!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Cero. Chamakh does a little dance to reset his feet.
A thudding body kick lands there by Cero!

Numero Cero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chamakh is pushing Cero up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chamakh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cero does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Chamakh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
