Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Desperado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Sakuraba!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Desperado!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Desperados jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Anthony Desperado has been cut.
Desperado thows a leg kick but Sakuraba checks it
and Sakuraba counters with a leg kick.
Sakuraba shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Desperado manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sakuraba isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Desperado stacks Sakuraba on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Desperado!

Sakuraba swings around for an armbar but Desperado sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sakuraba's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sakuraba throws a head kick but Desperado moves out of range.

Desperado cracks Sakuraba with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Desperado takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Sakuraba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Desperado can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sakuraba quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Desperado has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
