PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Loosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Vitti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitti has chosen Pendulum - Slam as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Loosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Vitti!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loosa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Loosa takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vitti keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Loosa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A shot to the liver by Loosa. Beautiful body shot.
Vitti fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Loosa is out of range.
The fighters circling - Loosa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Loosa. Vitti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vitti takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Loosa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Vitti moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Vitti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Loosa tries to avoid it but Vitti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Loosa to the ground. Loosa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Victor Loosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vitti misses the shot to the body.
Loosa swings for the body but Vitti moves out of range.
Loosa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Loosa fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vitti on the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Loosa. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Loosa.
Loosa misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vitti keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Loosa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Loosa throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Vitti takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Loosa misses with an uppercut.
Vitti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Loosa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vitti blocks a low kick nicely.
Loosa throws a leg kick but Vitti sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Vitti swinging wildly here.
Vitti swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Loosa counters with a right hand to the body.
Vitti looks winded!
Loosa misses with an uppercut. Vitti saw that one coming.
Victor Loosa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Loosa misses with a looping left.
Vitti takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Vitti takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Vitti displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Loosa throws out the jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vitti checks the leg kick.
Loosa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vitti is out of range.

Vitti blocks a leg kick.
Vitti ducks right into an uppercut from Loosa.
Loosa does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Loosa looks to throw the jab but Vitti is out of range.
Vitti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loosa but Loosa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vitti takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A bone on bone clash there as Vitti blocks the leg kick.
Nice shot lands for Loosa.

Loosa cracks Vitti with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Loosa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vitti to stand back up!


Vitti is rocked!
Loosa drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Vitti's head, knocking him out cold! Loosa is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Victor Loosa!
