Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robson DaSilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Kelvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Robson DaSilva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Robson DaSilva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robson DaSilva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jorge Kelvin! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelvin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kelvin fails in his attempt to clinch. Horrible takedown by DaSilva or perhaps it was just good defense by Kelvin which made him look bad. Kelvin shoots in looking for a takedown but DaSilva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kelvin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. DaSilva shoots in and drives through. Kelvin sprawls well. Kelvin leaves DaSilva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robson DaSilva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kelvin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and DaSilva counters with a low kick, right behind Kelvin 's knee. Kelvin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DaSilva tries to avoid it but Kelvin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DaSilva to the ground. DaSilva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. DaSilva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kelvin! DaSilva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kelvin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. DaSilva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kelvin has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelvin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. DaSilva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. DaSilva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kelvin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. DaSilva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kelvin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kelvin. DaSilva won't allow Kelvin to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! DaSilva advances to half guard. DaSilva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kelvin on the ground.

Kelvin is trying to stand up here but DaSilva is controlling him well. DaSilva is working for a kimura but Kelvin is defending it quite comfortably.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kelvin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kelvin fails with a takedown attempt. DaSilva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. DaSilva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kelvin wants to control the pace but DaSilva is squirming around nicely. Kelvin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control DaSilva haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kelvin dominating with strikes here.

Kelvin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but DaSilva manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kelvin wants to lay and pray for a moment but DaSilva keeps working. Jorge Kelvin has got the better of the ground game so far. Kelvin controlling from side mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kelvin wants to control but DaSilva is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Kelvin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! DaSilva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Kelvin is lucky that one didn't land flush. DaSilva circles away from the clinch attempt and DaSilva counters with a head kick. That will keep Kelvin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

"I don't think so" says DaSilva as he avoids it easily. Kelvin tries to close the distance and clinch but DaSilva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. DaSilva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kelvin sprawls well initially but DaSilva persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The ref stands the fighters back up. Jorge Kelvin was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kelvin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from DaSilva. And that's the end of the fight! Jorge Kelvin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kelvin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
