Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarvan Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Fraizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jarvan Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marc Fraizer!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Fraizer.
Fraizer misses with a few strikes there.
Fraizer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Four feints and as Fraizer raises his hands in defense, Four changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Four trying to control but Fraizer is working from the bottom.
Four makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Four landing some decent shots from guard.
Four loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Four prevents Fraizer from getting back to his feet.
Fraizer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Fraizer is trying to keep Four in close.
Four looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Four's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fraizer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Four manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fraizer on his heels. He'll look to pass Fraizer's guard now, I'm sure.
Four cracks Fraizer with a solid left hand.
Four missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Four working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fraizer's head.
Four sitting in guard here, content to control.
Four with a flurry of punches that miss.
Four seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Four has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fraizer controls Four momentarily but Four frees himself.
Four won't allow Fraizer to sweep him here.
Four showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Fraizer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Four. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jarvan Four.
Fraizer swings for the body but Four moves out of range.
Fraizer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fraizer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fraizer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Four is fending him off so far but Fraizer persists. Nope, Four circles away and we're back to standing.
Fraizer throws a head kick that Four semi-blocks.
Four looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Four fails with the takedown.
Four is breathing heavily.

Four feints and as Fraizer raises his hands in defense, Four changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Four wants to control from the top but Fraizer keeps moving.
Fraizer is trying to keep Four in close.
Fraizer keeping moving, preventing Four from controlling successfully.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jarvan Four just wasn't active enough.
Fraizer takes a swing at Four's ribcage but misses.
Fraizer misses with a series of wild punches.
Fraizer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Four but Four pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fraizer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fraizer throws a body punch but Four moves out of range.

Four shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fraizer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fraizer is working to avoid the ground and pound but Four connects with a decent elbow.
Fraizer takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Four wants to control but Fraizer is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fraizer can do anything to dispel that myth.
Four landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fraizer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Fraizer tries to kick Four off but Four keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Fraizer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Four.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jarvan Four will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Four takes one to the side of the head.
A head kick misses from Fraizer.
Four fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fraizer avoids it really well and circles away.
Fraizer lands with a good body shot.
Fraizer throws a sloppy head kick and Four moves out of range easily.
Marc Fraizer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Four shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Four was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Four is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fraizer's shoulder. That is not cool.
Four trying to control the action but Fraizer is working from the bottom.
Fraizer is looking for a sweep.

Fraizer takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Four lands an elbow.
Fraizer tries to bench press Four off him but Four keeps the position.
Four scores with a couple of short elbows.
Four sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fraizer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fraizer is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Fraizer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Four works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Four wants to stand but Fraizer has his arm trapped.
Four tries to move to mount but Fraizer blocks the move with his legs.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fraizer tries to improve position but can't.
Fraizer is not content to let Four control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fraizer gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Four prevents Fraizer from improving his position.
Four sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fraizer defending well though.
Four is just content to waste time from the top position. Fraizer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Four throws a big right hand that misses.
Four in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fraizer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Fraizer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fraizer pushes Four off and gets back to his feet.
Fraizer tries for a takedown but Four sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fraizer throws a head kick but Four moves out of range.
Fraizer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Four decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fraizer's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jarvan Four dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Fraizer misses with a low kick.
Fraizer tries for a takedown but Four sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Four looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Four throwing shots but Fraizer is blocking nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Four is thwarting Fraizer's attempts to control the position.

Fraizer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Four scores with a couple of nice shots.
Four wants to take a breather but Fraizer is having none of it.
Fraizer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fraizer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fraizer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Four scores with a couple of nice shots.
Four is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Four perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Four not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Four is looking to advance position but Fraizer won't allow it.

Four not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Fraizer is looking to escape.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Jarvan Four wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Four manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fraizer on his heels. He'll look to pass Fraizer's guard now, I'm sure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fraizer wants to stand up but Four is controlling him.

Four passes Fraizer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Four winds up and cracks Fraizer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Four lands a nice short elbow.

Four stops Fraizer from getting back to his feet.
Fraizer is looking to improve his position.

Four working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Four is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Four working over Fraizer with some ground and pound. Fraizer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Four content to control rather than advance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fraizer is looking for a sweep. Four is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Four in particular looking to stall.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jarvan Four showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Four, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
