The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SvenSoleson scores with a jab to the body.
Subban throws a lazy right hand but SvenSoleson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Subban throws a hook to the side of SvenSoleson's head but SvenSoleson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Subban throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Subban looks to throw the jab but SvenSoleson is out of range.
A punch combination from SvenSoleson misses.
SvenSoleson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

SvenSoleson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Subban.

Subban throws a poor cross that misses
and SvenSoleson counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Subban throws an off balance right hand
and SvenSoleson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
SvenSoleson slips a jab from Subban.
SvenSoleson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. SvenSoleson showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
SvenSoleson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Subban tries to kick SvenSoleson off but SvenSoleson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

SvenSoleson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
SvenSoleson is controlling the pace.

Subban is looking to escape.
Subban has hold of SvenSoleson's hands but SvenSoleson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

SvenSoleson prevents Subban from standing back up.
SvenSoleson passes the guard and advances to mount!
SvenSoleson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Subban takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
SvenSoleson wants to control the pace but Subban is squirming around nicely.
SvenSoleson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
SvenSoleson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Subban scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from SvenSoleson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. SvenSoleson stands and salutes the crowd.
