Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khan Jennings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Cole! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khan Jennings! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole darts in and clinches Jennings up against the cage. Cole has had enough of the clinch but Jennings keeps him there for the moment. Jennings breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jennings. Cole tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jennings paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jennings closes the distance and clinches. Jennings manages to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jennings wants to get back to his feet but Cole is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jennings keeping moving, preventing Cole from controlling successfully. Cole is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jennings had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cole defends it easily. Cole is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Adam Cole wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jennings is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jennings misses with a takedown attempt and Cole counters with a nice leg kick. Cole swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cole swats away the attempt to clinch by Jennings. Cole changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jennings looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole throwing shots but missing, from side control. Cole looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jennings is trying to buck Cole off. Cole in side control lands a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cole trying to control the action but Jennings is working from the bottom. Cole is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jennings will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Jennings is looking to regain half guard here but Cole keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jennings keeps working. Jennings is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cole stands up and beckons Jennings to his feet. Cole rushes Jennings and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cole jumps guard but Jennings turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jennings has had enough of the clinch but Cole keeps him there for the moment. Cole slowing the pace effectively. Jennings gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jennings thows a huge punch but Cole dodges it nicely.
Jennings wants to control but Cole is keeping him busy. Jennings tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Cole makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cole. This has been an exciting period of action! Cole looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cole on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cole tries to get out of the position. Cole keeping moving, preventing Jennings from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jennings engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Cole dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cole shoots in looking for a takedown. Jennings tries to sprawl out of it but Cole keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jennings manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jennings slips a jab and a cross from Cole.
Jennings scores with a jab to the body. Jennings closes the distance and clinches up with Cole, looking for a takedown. Jennings pushes Cole against the cage but Cole circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Adam Cole is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cole fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jennings looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jennings swats away the attempt to clinch by Cole. Cole closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cole lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jennings looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Adam Cole overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cole engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Cole stands up over Jennings, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cole drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jennings dives on top into guard. Jennings forces his way into half guard.

Jennings is working away from the top position though. Jennings perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Cole is looking for a sweep. Jennings is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jennings stalling.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cole attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Jennings darts in and clinches Cole up against the cage. Jennings changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cole fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jennings moves into the clinch successfully.
Cole is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jennings to keep the fight standing. Jennings has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jennings ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jennings no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jennings kicks Cole off and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jennings quickly recovers to half guard. Cole takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jennings is pressing down on Cole's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Cole looking to pass the guard. Jennings working for submissions but it's allowed Cole to get to half guard.
Jennings is breathing heavily. Cole is figuring out what he wants to do next. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Cole will probably get the nod. That's time! Cole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jennings doesn't manage to clinch there - Cole circles away.
Cole closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cole throws an elbow but Jennings slips to the side and avoids it well. Jennings struggling a bit here. Jennings is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Jennings regains half guard. Cole wants to control but Jennings is keeping him busy. Jennings is looking to control Cole's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jennings avoid being mounted? Cole lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Jennings tries to roll over but Cole keeps him under control. Cole is trying to control the action in half guard but Jennings is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cole prevents Jennings from improving his position. Cole is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Cole fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jennings looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jennings misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cole drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jennings is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cole decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jennings misses with a few strikes there.
Jennings thows a body shot but no joy. Cole shoots in and bounces Jennings off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cole trying to control but Jennings is working from the bottom. Jennings is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole tries to stand but Jennings is controlling from the bottom. Jennings working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Cole has passed into half guard!
Cole is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jennings does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cole is trying to work for a kimura but Jennings is defending well.
Jennings wants to improve his position but Cole is controlling well.

Jennings changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cole tries to avoid it but Jennings manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cole to the ground. Cole escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jennings has closed the distance and engaged Cole in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Jennings's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jennings prevents Cole from breaking the clinch. Cole jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jennings walks away with a smile on his face. Cole gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Cole misses with a series of wild punches.
Jennings tries to clinch and Cole counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cole. Cole trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jennings is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cole tries to free his leg and advance position but Jennings is retaining full guard. Jennings is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cole controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jennings will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Cole tries to free his leg and advance position but Jennings is retaining full guard. Cole is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Adam Cole has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cole wants to clinch. Excellent takedown into side control there by Cole. Jennings is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole is working Jennings over with some ground and pound from side control. Cole controls the position from side control. Jennings is not content to let Cole control the position. Jennings manages to get back to half guard. Cole stands up out of the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jennings wants to clinch and Cole counters with a straight right hand. Jennings tries for a takedown but Cole sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cole keeps the fight on the outside. Jennings tries to clinch but Cole is having none of it. Cole shoots in for a takedown but Jennings shows good takedown defense. Cole defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jennings. Adam Cole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khan Jennings. Cole closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Jennings's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jennings is trying to escape the position but Cole is controlling the position. Cole tries to move into full mount but can't pass Jennings's legs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cole thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cole trying to control the position but Jennings is working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cole tries to move to mount but Jennings blocks the move with his legs.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Cole showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cole, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
