Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Simon GM (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Simon GM has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon GM! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Frank! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! GM pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Frank back to the cage. GM follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. GM's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and GM duly obliges.
Frank is rocked! Frank moves into the clinch. Frank is still on wobbly legs! Can GM finish him? GM blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Frank keeps the fight in the clinch, despite GM's efforts to push away. Frank turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Frank seems to have recovered his senses. The strikes coming from Frank are missing the target in this wave of attacks. GM is trying to get back to his feet. Frank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! GM takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. You can see the frustration on GM's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. GM managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Frank.
GM is trying to control Frank's posture but Frank avoids it. The strikes coming from Frank are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank scoring with punches from side control. GM is looking for a sweep. GM trying his best to control but Frank has mounted him. GM holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Frank tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

GM is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Frank dominating with strikes here. Frank breaks from GM's wrist control and lands an elbow. BOOM! Frank connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Frank with the ground and pound from mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frank putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Frank raining down shots from the mount! GM on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if GM tries to get out of the position. Frank lands a big shot there that rocks GM but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

GM is rocked! GM is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Oh GM is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Frank working the ground and pound effectively.
Frank is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but GM is surviving well by controlling Frank's body position as best he can. GM tries to hold on but Frank pushes him away. GM is bucking up trying to escape but Frank cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Frank wants to finish this one by submission but GM is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Frank. GM wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Frank tries to control but GM wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frank putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Frank lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Frank connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Frank trying to control but he's not successful this time. Frank lands a big elbow - GM is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and GM is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tony Frank! A relieved looking Tony Frank thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
