Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Moonra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jacob Moonra has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jacob Moonra seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moonra throws out a loose jab but Nelson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Moonra misses with a hook. Nelson ducked under it nicely.
A jab from Moonra misses.
Moonra fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nelson staying out of range there.
Moonra dives in and grabs Nelson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes down on Moonra's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Moonra.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nelson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Moonra's head.
It looks like Jacob Moonra has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moonra throws a jab when Nelson was well out of range.
Moonra takes a swing at Nelson's ribcage but misses.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nelson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Moonra has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Moonra on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nelson. Nelson obviously looking to wear him down.
Moonra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nelson manages to avoid it.

Nelson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Nelson enables Moonra to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nelson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nelson wants to stand up but Moonra is controlling him.
Moonra wants to pass the guard but Nelson is keeping the position.
Nelson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Moonra waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nelson.

Moonra fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moonra tries for a takedown but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Moonra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moonra looks to land a right hand but Nelson moved out of range.
Moonra gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nelson tries to land knees in the clinch but Moonra avoids the damage to the body.
Moonra manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Nelson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Moonra changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nelson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nelson moves out of range as Moonra strikes.
Moonra throws a lazy right hand but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nelson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Moonra misses with a hook.
Nelson throws the kick towards the body but Moonra avoids it.
A telegraphed right hand from Moonra misses the target.
Nelson tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Nelson.
Moonra fails with a takedown attempt.
Nelson throws a leg kick but Moonra sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Moonra throws a shot from downtown. Nelson moves away and avoids it.
Moonra jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Jacob Moonra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moonra comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Nelson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Moonra throws a leg kick that misses.
Nelson tries to land a leg kick but Moonra saw it coming and moves away.
Nelson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Moonra is breathing heavily.
Moonra misses the shot to the body.

Nelson throws a sloppy head kick and Moonra moves out of range easily.

Moonra closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nelson circles away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Nelson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Moonra is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Moonra lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nelson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nelson throws a front kick that sends Moonra stumbling back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hoy Nelson dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Moonra throws a poor cross that misses
and Nelson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Moonra lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Moonra jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nelson defending well as Moonra loads up on a big left hand.
Moonra throws a sloppy body shot
and Nelson counters with a good low kick that Moonra was not able to check.
Nelson slips a jab from Moonra.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses.
Nelson feints and then cracks Moonra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moonra down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Crunch! Nelson slams his shin into Moonra's torso.
Nelson lands a big head kick that sends Moonra to the canvas! Nelson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Hoy Nelson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
