Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Jacarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Jacarson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Santos! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacarson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Jason Santos has been cut. Santos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Jacarson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jacarson jumps guard but Santos stands there with Jacarson around his waist. Jacarson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jacarson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Jacarson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Santos pulls guard. Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jacarson is controlling him. Jacarson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Anthony Jacarson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Jacarson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Santos. Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A head kick misses from Jacarson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacarson has closed the distance and engaged Santos in a clinch.

Jacarson digs a right hand underneath Santos's ribcage. Santos let out a lung full of air as it connected. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jacarson manages to pull guard.
Jacarson has his hands on Santos's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jacarson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Anthony Jacarson just wasn't active enough. A cross from Jacarson lands. Jacarson tries to clinch there but Santos circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacarson is looking to clinch. Jacarson clinches with his opponent.
Jacarson throws a knee to the head but misses.
A nice left hand lands by Jacarson.

Jacarson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jacarson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Santos backwards. Jacarson landing knees to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jacarson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Santos's guard. Ground and pound from Jacarson. Jacarson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Jacarson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Santos's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jacarson moves in looking to clinch but Santos pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Santos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jacarson was covering up waiting for the punch and Santos finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jacarson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Santos's guard. Jacarson slips nicely into half guard. Santos is breathing heavily. Jacarson trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacarson tries to pass to full mount but Santos defends it. Jacarson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jacarson controlling from the full mount. Jacarson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacarson takes Santos's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Santos is in trouble. Good control from Jacarson.
