Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivelar Sovat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes into the arena with disguise blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivelar Sovat! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee with a poor takedown and Sovat holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sovat manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sovat can do anything to dispel that myth. Sovat wants to sweep but no luck. Lee throwing strikes but missing. Sovat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there. Sovat is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Sovat is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sovat can't keep his opponent in guard - Lee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lee really is a fat lump.

Lee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sovat sees it coming and defends easily. Lee seems to be working for a kimura but Sovat defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sovat is looking to get back to full guard here but Lee has managed to pass to side control instead. Sovat managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lee.
Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sovat tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sovat wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sovat has escaped the position, nice work there. Lee is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sovat knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sovat isn't going anywhere. You can see the frustration on Sovat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sovat is trying to get back to half guard. Sovat is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee postures up and lands a big shot to Sovat's brow. Sovat wants to hit a switch here but Lee passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sovat there! Lee prevents Sovat from getting the reversal. Lee is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sovat has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sovat manages to control the position for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sovat to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sovat shrugs it off. Sovat is trying desperately to improve position. Lee misses with a head shot. Lee has control of Sovat's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sovat regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lee working for a guillotine from mount but Sovat is in no mood to give up. Sovat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sovat wants to control but Lee is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee looking to control but Sovat is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sovat tries to improve his position but instead Lee has taken his back! Sovat fending off the submission attempt from Lee. Sovat is in bad spot here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sovat trying to control but not successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sovat preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Lee. Lee is not going to allow Sovat to sit and survive in this position. Lee is persistently looking for the submission but Sovat is defending it well.
Sovat is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. I really don't envy Sovat right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alex Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sovat trying to control the hands but Lee breaks the grip. Sovat is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Lee is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sovat with him. Sovat is trying to defend but Lee has an arm under the chin now! Sovat grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alex Lee! Alex Lee was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
