The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Santana tries to close the distance and clinch up but Waino swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Waino throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Santana keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Waino.
Waino throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Santana counters by clinching up.
Santana tries to pull guard but Waino won't allow it.
Santana drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Santana tries for a takedown. No joy.
Juan Waino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Santana.
Waino has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santana is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Santana has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Waino uses from the top position.

Santana is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
