Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Cronk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rexar comes to the cage accompanied by Big Shit Poppin'. Butch Cronk will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cronk rushes Rexar and presses him up against the cage.
Rexar lands a damaging elbow.
Rexar blocks a body shot from Cronk.

Cronk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cronk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rexar throws a head kick but Cronk moves out of range.
Cronk wants to clinch up but Rexar keeps it at a distance.
Cronk moves in looking to clinch but Rexar pushes him off.
Cronk tries to clinch up but Rexar circles away and keeps his distance.
Rexar blocks a low kick nicely.
Cronk fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rexar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cronk gets a clinch.
Rexar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cronk is keeping busy.
Cronk is looking for a takedown.
Rexar wants to stall.

Rexar wants to break free but Cronk has control.
Rexar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cronk's elbow.
Rexar tries to pull guard but Cronk forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Rexar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cronk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cronk digs a good body shot into Rexar's ribs.

Cronk moves into the clinch.
Rexar is trying to break the clinch but Cronk has him pressed against the cage.
Cronk working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Cronk digs a right hand into Rexar's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rexar's gas tank.
Cronk lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rexar is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rexar can't find room to land a body shot as Cronk controls the action.
Rexar keeps control of Cronk as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Cronk fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cronk misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cronk doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Rexar manages to break the clinch.

Cronk gets a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cronk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rexar's head.
Cronk thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Rexar wants to get back to his feet.
Rexar blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cronk.
Cronk throwing shots but Rexar is blocking nicely.
Cronk throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Rexar to regain full guard.
Cronk tries to free his leg and advance position but Rexar is retaining full guard.

Cronk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Cronk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rexar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rexar wants to sweep but no luck.
Cronk connects with a couple of short punches.
Cronk is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Cronk tries to stand but Rexar is controlling from the bottom.

Rexar pushes a forearm under Cronk's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Cronk is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
