The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uchimura closes the distance and clinches.
Uchimura's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Trono drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Trono pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Uchimura is keeping the position for now.
Trono prevents Uchimura from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uchimura is adopting a defensive guard.
Uchimura is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Trono frees his head nicely. Oh but Uchimura has switched to an armbar! Trono is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
