Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bull Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mordechai Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bull Dog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mordechai Marx!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog lands with an overhand left.
Dog throws a shot from downtown. Marx moves away and avoids it.
Dog scores with a three punch combo!
Marx tries to bum rush Dog with a series of wild strikes but Dog uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dog displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marx throws out the jab.
Dog needs to keep his hands up - Marx had a free shot at his head there.
Marx lands a really nice looking cross but Dog seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dog throws the left hand but Marx avoids the punch easily.

Bull Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marx shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dog sprawls well. Dog wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marx gets slowly back to his feet.

Marx changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dog looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marx wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dog, who protects the arm well.

Marx wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dog keeps working.
Marx has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Marx remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Marx works to advance to full mount. Dog defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Well Marx has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
