The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dickens.
Dickens looks to score with a jab to the body but Emelianenko is just out of range.
Dickens drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dickens pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Emelianenko is keeping the position for now.
Emelianenko wants to stand and escape but Dickens is having none of it.
