Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giorgos Kourtesiotis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dobryak Tolstyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tolstyak has chosen потому что я as his entrance music. Giorgos Kourtesiotis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giorgos Kourtesiotis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dobryak Tolstyak! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tolstyak tries a head kick but it misses.
Kourtesiotis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tolstyak counters with a solid body kick. Tolstyak swings widly with a right hand
and Kourtesiotis counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tolstyak can do anything to dispel that myth. Tolstyak blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kourtesiotis. Kourtesiotis wants to pass the guard but Tolstyak is defending well. Kourtesiotis is looking for a kimura but Tolstyak is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kourtesiotis to get the leverage. Kourtesiotis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kourtesiotis works his way into full mount! Kourtesiotis wants to control the pace but Tolstyak is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kourtesiotis controlling from the full mount. Kourtesiotis with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kourtesiotis trying to control but Tolstyak is having none of it. Kourtesiotis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tolstyak is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Tolstyak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kourtesiotis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kourtesiotis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tolstyak is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tolstyak in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Kourtesiotis punishing his opponent with strikes. Kourtesiotis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kourtesiotis won't let Tolstyak get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Kourtesiotis with good strikes from the mount here! Kourtesiotis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kourtesiotis landing strikes from the mount and Tolstyak is in trouble! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Giorgos Kourtesiotis dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kourtesiotis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tolstyak is trying to get back to his feet. Kourtesiotis working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kourtesiotis staying calm. Tolstyak wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Kourtesiotis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tolstyak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kourtesiotis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tolstyak, who protects the arm well. Tolstyak pushes Kourtesiotis away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kourtesiotis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Giorgos Kourtesiotis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kourtesiotis scoring with punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kourtesiotis trying to control the position but Tolstyak is working away. Kourtesiotis has an Americana. Tolstyak didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kourtesiotis is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kourtesiotis hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
