Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sir Jecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jecht comes to the cage accompanied by The Lumberjack. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sir Jecht! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Franklin Dos Santos! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jecht shoots in and bounces Dos Santos off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dos Santos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jecht is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jecht is pushing down on Dos Santos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dos Santos is fighting to maintain full guard but Jecht has managed to sneak the leg through. Jecht seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jecht seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jecht will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jecht is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jecht performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jecht seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Well, if Jecht is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jecht wants to pass to mount but Dos Santos is defending the position. Jecht is taking a breather. Dos Santos says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jecht working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jecht stops Dos Santos from getting back to his feet.
Dos Santos looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jecht is controlling the pace.
Dos Santos is in trouble now - Jecht has advanced to mount! Jecht really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jecht cracks Dos Santos with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jecht landing strikes, looking to finish! Jecht takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jecht lands a heavy elbow. Jecht with a couple of short strikes. Jecht looking to finish Dos Santos with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dos Santos!
Dos Santos is rocked! Dos Santos tries to hold on but Jecht postures up. Dos Santos is still in real trouble! Can Jecht finish him? Jecht connects with a bit shot that sees Dos Santos covering up! More strikes from Jecht and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Jecht is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sir Jecht! A less than humble Sir Jecht misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
