Steel comes to the cage accompanied by The champ is here - Lupe Fiasco. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Jerome Jackson has been cut.
Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Steel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steel is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Steel circles away and we're back to standing.
Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Steel moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson takes one on the button.
Steel slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jorge Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Jackson.
Jackson looks winded!
Steel cracks Jackson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
BOOM! Steel lands a beautiful left hook that drops Jackson. Jackson tries to recover but Steel is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Jackson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
