The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjorn throws a lazy head kick
and Benton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bjorn wants to clinch
and Benton counters with a nice uppercut.
Bjorn moves to clinch but Benton breaks away
and Benton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bjorn won't be happy with that.
Bjorn is trying to get back to his feet.
Benton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Benton is working Bjorn over with some ground and pound from side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bjorn parries the strikes from Benton easily there. Benton is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bjorn to escape.
Benton controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Benton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bernard Benton just wasn't active enough.
Bjorn darts in trying to clinch
and Bjorn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bjorn looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bjorn tries to clinch up
and Benton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bjorn closes the distance looking to clinch
and Benton counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ragnar Bjorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benton scores with a nice head shot.
Benton throws a head kick that misses.
Bjorn is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Benton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bjorn at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Benton throws a shot from downtown. Bjorn moves away and avoids it.
Benton cracks Bjorn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Benton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bjorn on the side of the head.
Bjorn is still on wobbly legs! Can Benton finish him?
Bjorn tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Benton counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Bjorn! This one is all over!
