The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Majki moves into the clinch.
Santos is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Santos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Santos has had enough of the clinch but Majki keeps him there for the moment.
Majki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Santos tries to break free but Majki pushes him back against the cage.
Majki keeps control of Santos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Majki breaks the clinch.
Santos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Santos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Majki misses with a takedown attempt - Santos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Thiago Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jebac Majki.
Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Santos scores with a one two! Majki had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Majki throws a sloppy head kick and Santos moves out of range easily.
Majki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Santos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Majki holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Majki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Santos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Majki finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Santos's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Majki falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Santos!
Thiago Santos bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
