Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique- Internally Bleeding. Jesse Wolfe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Glen Starner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jesse Wolfe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Starner! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starner lands a lovely overhand right. Starner throws a right hand that misses
enabling Wolfe to counter with a crisp jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Starner. Wolfe does a little dance to reset his feet. Wolfe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Starner. Starner throws out a loose jab but Wolfe uses good head movement to avoid it. Starner walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jesse Wolfe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Starner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wolfe lands with a nice body punch. Wolfe slips a straight right by Starner. Wolfe throws a good cross that connects.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Starner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A slow jab from Wolfe misses its intended target. Wolfe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Starner to score with a decent uppercut. Starner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wolfe scores with a decent looking hook. Wolfe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Starner misses with a low kick. Wolfe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Starner misses with a body shot.
Wolfe slips a jab from Starner. Wolfe moves forwards but Starner connects with a nice, crisp jab. Starner closes the distance and lands a one-two. Starner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wolfe.

Wolfe closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Starner swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Starner looks to throw the jab but Wolfe is out of range. Wolfe lands a nice shot that snaps Starner's head back.
Wolfe looks to land a combination but Starner avoids it well. The crowd cheers as Starner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wolfe doesn't seem phased though. Wolfe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Starner.
Starner needs to keep his hands up - Wolfe had a free shot at his head there. Jab by Wolfe. Starner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wolfe.
Starner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wolfe. Wolfe circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Starner shoots in looking for a takedown but Wolfe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Starner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wolfe misses with a looping right. Starner throws out a leg kick but Wolfe moves out of range and Starner only half commits. No joy there for Starner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfe tries to work over Starner's front leg with a kick but Starner checks it. Starner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A decent looking cross lands there for Starner. Wolfe scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Starner regains full guard. Nicely done. Wolfe preventing the sweep. Wolfe lands a couple of digs. Starner trying to keep a closed guard but Wolfe is proving a slippery customer.
Wolfe wants to control from the top but Starner keeps moving. Wolfe postures up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Starner keeping moving, preventing Wolfe from controlling successfully. Starner wants to sweep here but Wolfe controlling him for the moment. Starner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolfe is pressing down on Starner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wolfe controlling Starner's posture. Starner with a flurry of punches that miss. Starner throws a big right hand that misses. Wolfe is trying to keep Starner in close.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Starner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wolfe keeping moving, preventing Starner from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Glen Starner will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A telegraphed right hand from Wolfe misses the target. Starner tries to clinch up and Wolfe counters with a nice uppercut. Glen Starner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wolfe jabbing away but nothing is landing. Starner throws the left hand but Wolfe avoids the punch easily. Starner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Starner looks to score with a jab to the body but Wolfe is just out of range. Starner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wolfe moves away. Starner shoots in for a double leg but Wolfe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A looping hook to the body misses from Wolfe. Starner does a little dance to reset his feet. Wolfe tries to clinch up but Starner circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfe connects with a crisp jab. Good exchange - Wolfe coming out on top. Starner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolfe's waist but Wolfe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Starner off to one side. Wolfe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wolfe throws out a powerful jab.
Starner is rocked! Wolfe throws a nice inside leg kick. Starner is still on wobbly legs! Can Wolfe finish him? Wolfe misses with a straight right. Starner seems to have recovered his senses. Wolfe shoots in but no luck this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wolfe goes for a double leg but Starner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Starner continues to drive forward. Wolfe wants to stall.
Starner lands with a left to the head. Starner displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wolfe up against the cage. Wolfe throws an elbow but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Starner has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wolfe regains guard immediately. Starner trying to control the position from guard on top but Wolfe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Starner throws a strike but Wolfe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Starner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wolfe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wolfe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wolfe is in close to Starner's body, working some short punches and elbows. Starner has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wolfe doesn't defend quickly enough and Starner has managed to lock this one up! Can Wolfe escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Starner on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Glen Starner! Glen Starner decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
