Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Belton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Mary Jane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Jenkins.
Belton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jenkins.
Jenkins throws a hook but Belton blocks it.
Belton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jenkins.
An inside leg kick lands from Belton .
Jenkins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Belton momentarily.
Jenkins tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Belton checks the leg kick nicely there.

Jenkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Jenkins counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Belton is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Belton wants to improve his position but Jenkins is controlling well.

Jenkins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Belton takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Thurgood Jenkins seems to be getting the better of the standup.

A decent looking cross lands there for Jenkins.

Jenkins walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Belton checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Horrible takedown by Jenkins or perhaps it was just good defense by Belton which made him look bad.

Belton is looking to wear down Jenkins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Jenkins takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Jenkins dives in and scores a takedown into Belton 's guard.
Belton trying to keep a closed guard but Jenkins is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Belton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there.
Belton is looking to stand up but Jenkins isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close second round but Thurgood Jenkins will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Belton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Belton feints and then cracks Jenkins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jenkins down.
Nice uppercut lands for Jenkins. That snapped Belton 's head back.

Jenkins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Belton on his heels. He'll look to pass Belton 's guard now, I'm sure.

Belton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Belton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jenkins is controlling him.
Jenkins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins won't allow Belton to get back to his feet.
Jenkins wants to control from the top but Belton keeps moving.

Jenkins engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Thurgood Jenkins.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Belton crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jenkins - the referee stops the clock and Belton gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jenkins. Belton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jenkins shoots in and drives through. Belton sprawls well.
Belton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jenkins.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Thurgood Jenkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jenkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
