Copeland's entrance music is Avenged Sevenfold-Beast and the Harlot. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Jones!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copeland pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Copeland sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.

Copeland is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jones is looking to cinch up a triangle. Copeland throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jones's body to avoid the submission. Jones has instead reached around Copeland's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jones arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A relieved looking Paul Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
