PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Ersa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vegeta Trunks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trunks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by usta Rhymes Feat Eminem - I'll Hurt You . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ersa lands a head shot.
Ersa scores with a sloppy right hand. Trunks should have avoided that one.

It looks like Vegeta Trunks has been cut.

Ersa drops Trunks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Trunks looks back up at him and smiles so Ersa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Trunks is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ersa misses with a series of wild punches.
Trunks throws a body punch but Ersa moves out of range.

Trunks shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Trunks showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Trunks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ersa's head.

Ersa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Trunks pulls his head out easily.
Ersa is looking to improve his position.

Trunks is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Ersa looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Trunks slips a nice elbow through Ersa's hands, connecting with Ersa's forehead.

Trunks is working for a kimura but Ersa is defending it quite comfortably.
Trunks landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ersa is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Ersa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Trunks wants to pass to mount but Ersa is defending the position.

Trunks wants to free his trapped foot but Ersa is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Trunks winds up and cracks Ersa with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Trunks is looking to advance position but Ersa won't allow it.
Trunks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ersa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ersa works his way to full guard. Good work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trunks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Trunks trying to control the position from guard on top but Ersa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Trunks working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Trunks with a nice head shot there.
Ersa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Trunks is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ersa is breathing heavily.
Trunks trying to control the position from guard on top but Ersa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Trunks chips away with some ground and pound.
Trunks is pushing down on Ersa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ersa is fighting to maintain full guard but Trunks has managed to sneak the leg through.
Trunks looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ersa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Trunks is nestled in close to Ersa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Trunks scores with a big shot! Ersa's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ersa! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
