Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koopa Troopa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bishop might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 999 - Homicide. Troopa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Koopa Troopa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Bobby Bishop has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bobby Bishop seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop thows a body shot but no joy.
Troopa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Troopa lands in his opponent's guard.
Troopa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Troopa trying to control but Bishop is working from the bottom.
Bishop controls Troopa momentarily but Troopa frees himself.
Troopa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Troopa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Troopa wants to control from the top but Bishop keeps moving.

Troopa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bishop swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Troopa throws a sloppy head kick
and Bishop counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Troopa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bishop as he avoids it easily.
Bishop misses with a kick to the body
so Troopa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Troopa is looking to advance position but Bishop has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Bishop content just to control the position here.
Troopa wants to hold on but Bishop pushes him away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Bishop, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Troopa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bishop clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bishop creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Troopa swings away with an uppercut that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Still in the clinch, Bishop scores with a nice short uppercut.

Troopa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bishop's elbow.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Troopa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bishop's hands.
Bishop forces Troopa back against the cage and clinches.
Troopa can't find room to land a body shot as Bishop controls the action.

Troopa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bishop's elbow.
Bishop lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Troopa backwards.
Bishop comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Troopa wants to take the fight to the mat but Bishop manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Troopa tries to throw a body punch but Bishop avoids it by throwing Troopa back against the cage.
Troopa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bishop prevents it.
Bobby Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koopa Troopa.

Troopa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Still in the clinch, Bishop scores with a nice short uppercut.

Bishop lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bishop pushes Troopa against the cage. Bishop is working some dirty boxing. Bishop pushes off with a quick right hook! Troopa goes down! Troopa tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bishop moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

A relieved looking Bobby Bishop thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
