Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darwin France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think France might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to bring me to life. Jean Charles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Charles! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Charles. France shoots for a double leg takedown but Charles sprawls well. He's pushed France's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Charles steps to the side to avoid the strikes from France. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from France. Darwin France seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. France walks into a stiff left hand from Charles. France really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. France connects with a body shot that sends Charles's belly button to the back. Charles on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. France shoots in for a double leg but Charles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darwin France. That's going to take a lot out of him. A slow jab from France misses its intended target. Charles scores with a nice right hand.

Charles leaves France with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Charles staying out of range there.
