Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emilio Del Geno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ankur Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Geno comes to the cage accompanied by Santino Marella - La Vittoria. Emilio Del Geno has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Emilio Del Geno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ankur Khan! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Del Geno manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Del Geno shoots in and bounces Khan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Del Geno drops back, looking for a kneebar! Khan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Khan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Khan! Khan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Del Geno sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Khan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Del Geno to his feet. Khan wants to clinch. Khan lands a front kick. Del Geno dives in and grabs Khan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes down on Del Geno's head and hops out. Emilio Del Geno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan wants to clinch up but Del Geno keeps it at a distance. Del Geno looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan pushes Del Geno off looking to stand but Del Geno dives back in and keeps control.
Del Geno looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Del Geno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Khan keeps working. Del Geno is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Khan sees it coming and defends easily. Khan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Del Geno takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Del Geno scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Khan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Del Geno. Del Geno landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Khan tries to roll over but Del Geno keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Geno not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Khan is not content to let Del Geno control the position. Del Geno trying to control the pace. Khan punching from the bottom.
Del Geno seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan actively working from the bottom here. Del Geno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Del Geno trying to control from half guard but Khan is working away. Del Geno frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Geno lands a big elbow. Khan is in a horrible position here. Del Geno smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Khan wants to control but Del Geno is having none of it. Khan regains half guard. Del Geno trying to mount his opponent but Khan defends it. Del Geno is looking to take a break and control but Khan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Khan has hold of Del Geno's hands but Del Geno slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Khan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Del Geno gets tackled into the cage by Khan. Khan maintains the clinch. Khan breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Del Geno throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Khan was covering up waiting for the punch and Del Geno finishes the takedown easily into guard. Del Geno lands a couple of decent looking shots. Del Geno pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Khan is keeping the position for now. Del Geno passes easily into side control. Nice work. Del Geno lands a decent elbow from side control. Khan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Del Geno has just dragged him back down to the mat. Del Geno working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Del Geno passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Khan! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khan moves out of range of the strikes. Khan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Del Geno fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Khan avoids it really well and circles away. Del Geno shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Khan counters with a three punch combo that has Del Geno backing up. Del Geno nods at Khan to acknowledge the strikes. Del Geno shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emilio Del Geno. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan fails in his attempt to clinch. Del Geno fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Del Geno is trying hard to land a takedown here. Khan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Khan misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crunch! Khan slams his shin into Del Geno's torso. Del Geno shoots in looking for a takedown. Khan tries to sprawl out of it but Del Geno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Khan fails with an attempt to clinch.

letting Khan counter with a right hand. Del Geno looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Del Geno fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Khan to the ground. Del Geno is now in Khan's guard. Del Geno throws a strike but Khan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Khan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Khan looking to pass the guard.

Del Geno is looking to sweep but instead, Khan has passed into half guard.
Del Geno wants to get back to full guard. Del Geno is staying active underneath Khan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Khan tries to stand and escape but Del Geno is controlling the position. Del Geno is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Khan jumps into side control! Khan throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Del Geno tries to bench press Khan off him but Khan keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan wants to stand but Del Geno has his arm trapped. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Khan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Khan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Emilio Del Geno overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Khan wants to stand but Del Geno has his arm trapped. Del Geno manages to get back to half guard. Del Geno works his way to full guard. Good work. Del Geno has a closed guard, preventing Khan from standing up. Del Geno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khan's guard. Khan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan keeping moving, preventing Del Geno from controlling successfully. Del Geno tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard. Del Geno trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan is pulling down on Del Geno's head. It's preventing any offense from Del Geno, at least for the moment. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Emilio Del Geno just wasn't active enough. Del Geno scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Emilio Del Geno will probably get the nod. That's time! Del Geno's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Del Geno keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Del Geno is looking for a kimura here.

and Khan counters by moving into the clinch. Khan lands a nice knee to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan scores with a nice hook to the head. Khan utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Del Geno can't get the takedown.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Khan pushes Del Geno back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Del Geno blocks an uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Emilio Del Geno. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Del Geno, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
