The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condit fails to land the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Condit or perhaps it was just good defense by Palmer which made him look bad.
Palmer scores with a sloppy right hand. Condit should have avoided that one.
Condit closes this distance looking for a takedown but Palmer circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Condit. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Palmer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Palmer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Palmer.
Palmer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Condit manages to avoid it.

Joe Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Condit tries to move into range but Palmer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Palmer drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Condit right on the button. Condit goes down! Palmer follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Palmer gets the win via TKO!
