Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Redban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Navas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Redban might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to M83 - Midnight City. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Redban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fernando Navas!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Navas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Redban as he avoids it easily.
Navas shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Navas moves out of range of the strikes.
Redban fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Navas throws a head kick but Redban moves out of range.
Redban dips to his left and cracks Navas with an uppercut!

Redban tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Navas was well out of range. Poor timing from Redban.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Redban crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Navas - the referee stops the clock and Redban gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Navas. Redban manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well Navas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
